Drawing day 5

Blogging delayed by breaking right arm a few days ago. determined to carry on with course with left hand.

Day 5 of course (before the broken arm) we were allowed to bring in objects we liked as opposed City Lit objects. A nice collection we had:

We drew in pencil using double size paper. Because we were choosing and placing objects as we wished, there was less measuring.

We could choose to focus on particular objects, draw the whole or part.

Quite good responses – Tony – maybe just draw top of tea pot for example,  – figs should maybe not be central, Toshi – move/remove goggles. Tony – create ‘edge of table’. So did those things. Quite pleased with what I did.

Since then a broken right arm. Have done two quick drawings with left hand. Will see how I get on.
