Did a big drawing from inside the train this time, based on one of the projections. I had problems representing the seats. Rubbed back most stuff, then began to work back in. More next week.
Perhaps the train itself is a kind of Dreamachine. A swift look around the carriage reveals many different mental states, from the animated to the somnolent. Passengers are both present and not present, rocked in Zweig’s ‘steel cradle’, conscious yet for extended periods lulled through rhythm and vibration into something approaching an hypnotic state.
