Good to see nearly everyone at the start of the year.

Had some discussions in the afternoon about ways of beginning a project which I found helpful. Three people talked about ideas for their projects and we discussed these.

Research methods included:

• Drawing
• Constructing/exploring materials
• Writing and research – I would add reading/literature
• Photographic – still and moving
• Enactment/intervention in the physical environment
• Conceptual
• Transformational – selecting 2D or 3D material

I decided to start with moving image and drawing, for now. 

Also – wrote a loose plan – encompassing a lot – everything I could think of – which will be narrowed down eventually.

I don’t mind going down a few blind alleys.
